Administer networks and computer systems with Microsoft Windows operating systems by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Acts within alignment of security roles.
Installs and configures networks and computer systems with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Sets up user accounts on organization's servers.
Runs necessary system backups and maintenance.
Provides technical support and troubleshoots problems on local area networks (LAN) and data networks using Microsoft operating systems.
Performs some programming and may be responsible for script writing.
Helps build and maintain IT knowledge base with thorough documentation of issue resolution.
Assists with testing and deploying new internal software releases.
Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
Consults with senior peers on certain projects.
Displays moderate skills with high level of proficiency.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MCSE, MCSA, MCP, A+, Network+, Security+ certifications preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server, Internet browser software, and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as, experience with virtualization, Microsoft Server, Phone System Administration, Anti-Virus installation and support, and Data Protection Services.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
