Quality Assurance Vice President - 90225610 Primary Location :US-New Jersey-Whippany Job Type:Permanent/Regular Posting Range :19 Mar 2019 - Ongoing Description Quality Assurance Management Lead, VP Whippany, NJ This is a position supporting the Operations Rigor team in Barclays Cards and Payments business. You will be implementing and maintaining the Quality Assurance framework for a high quality control environment, and provide strategy and execution in delivering a world class governance and control and Quality Assurance. What will you be doing? *Work with the operational teams to provide root cause assessments and defined programs to address broader root cause priority issues across organization *Lead governance framework and Partner with Operations and Ops Rigor to drive improvement of operational issues *Responsible for designing and maintaining accurate test scripts, sampling methodologies and reporting *Produce value add reporting which provides an understanding of the risk within US COO *Develop robust sampling methodology *Work with LOB leads to determine target error rates and risk appetite *Support the Chief Control Officer to drive a culture of control and compliance. What we're looking for: *Degree qualified (or equivalent) and/or High Performance track record throughout career. *8+ years management experience *5+ years in a risk environment or relevant business experience required. Skills that will help you in the role: *O&T leader able to bring together direct and virtual teams in pursuit of business goals. *Background governance of risk and operational control with potential experience in risk, compliance and financial crime the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business unit management of risk, compliance and controls including conduct risk, IRM, BCM, Payment risk, Complaints & Conduct Risk; *Understanding of the broader financial market and its impact on the business; *Builds collaborative relationships with others to help create a flexible organization; *Experienced problem solver with demonstrated and proven complex critical thinking skills; *Proven ability to identify, recruit and retain good people, *Ability to analyze and forecast trends, developing and implementing steps to reduce risks. *Strong understanding and experience in the Payment/Card Services industry including regulatory and audit arena with proven positive results.
