The Role

We are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to join our Creative Studios in our New York office.This is an ongoing, onsite position for 40 hours/week, with high potential to convert to a full-time role.

As the Project Manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of all company projects. The Project Manager collaborates across various groups to deliver client satisfaction and efficient use of the team s resources. We are looking for a team player who can deliver on results and is not afraid to think outside of the box. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills. He/she must be detailed oriented, resourceful, and able to multi-task and prioritize under deadlines. Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required and an interest in public relations and marketing is a must.

The Team

The Project Manager will work directly with the creative team. The team work across the entire BCW client roster to develop and create content that moves people. Our work connects consumers and brands by creating campaigns and content that digs deeper and imagines more. We ve gathered an intentionally disparate collection of designers, writers, producers, and other creators to give us the expertise to credibly deliver content and programming that can live across any and all platforms. And to that end, we look for people who love what they do and can roll up their sleeves to push our creative even further!

What You Will Do

  • Plan the detailed delivery of a range of projects to meet defined time, budget targets and quality standards
  • Manage methodology and process throughout projects
  • Provide regular status reports including hours utilized and financial status for projects
  • Attend internal meetings, ensuring necessary team members are in attendance and the meeting stays on task
  • Work on monthly projections
  • Collaborate closely with account team to prepare project proposals, schedules and estimates
  • Monitor plans using appropriate software to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Responsible for quality standards and delivery of work on time and on budget

Who You Will Be

  • BA/BS degree; PMP or similar certification
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in (advertising) project management or program management, working on digital, social, broadcast/video, print and OOH deliverables
  • Dynamic leadership, management and team building skills
  • Successful track record managing multiple client assignments simultaneously
  • Knowledge of integrated advertising/marketing campaigns
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and contemporary PM software
