The Information Technology Manager will focus on enterprise applications, infrastructure applications and IT governance. This position will manage the day to day functions of all corporate software. This includes core banking, business and infrastructure applications, during their entire life cycle. The position will work with assigned business units to evaluate technology process improvements and solutions. This position will also manage the software portfolio and life cycle. This manager will provide day to day oversight of the IT governance function.
* Manage the people and technology that report to this position. This includes Jack Henry core banking, business and infrastructure applications (includes all security applications). * Managing the technology governance function; by designing controls, providing oversight and managing enterprise technology risk. * Provide capacity and compliance management oversight, including reports and dashboards. Manage the technology application/project portfolio, by aligning with business management and controlling costs. * Complete long-term application strategic planning, documentation and evaluation required to meet business objectives. * Develop requirements, documentation and architectural designs for all application related projects.
Knowledge and Education
* Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, or Computer Science related field preferred but not required. * Experience managing technology teams, with a focus on development and performance management. * Experience managing technology, banking or governance projects. * Experience managing and supporting Microsoft Windows based software applications. Experience with Endpoint security systems or other modern technology systems to include; networking, database management, core banking or programming platforms. * Strong understanding of banking regulations and their impact on corporate Information Technology. * Strong business background. Must be able to communicate technology with business management. * Ability to communicate and write clearly and concisely. Candidate must be able to produce business requirements. * Ability to work as part of a team and to complete tasks as assigned, with great attention to detail. * Independent thought is required.

This position requires the ability to solve technology based problems. A candidate must be able to problem solve independently and as part of a team. This position requires swift and independent thinking, as issues must be rapidly resolved. The candidate must be able to process complex data and make accurate recommendations to management. Decisions will impact governance decisions, business systems and processes and the overall technology environment. The position will require a candidate the can resolve human interaction and performance issues.
This position requires regular contact with company stakeholders and will include hiring and termination discussions and decisions. A candidate must interact in a professional manner, while demonstrating urgency. The candidate must be able to encourage, correct and influence their direct reports. The correct candidate will understand performance management and the development of teams and individuals. Individual must be a self-starter. A successful candidate will be working as part of a technology team and must coordinate well with internal stakeholders. The candidate must be able to evaluate complex problems and support their decision verbally and in writing. The candidate must be able to take direction. This position will require a candidate that can communicate technical issues to non-technical staff. The position also requires a candidate that can communicate appropriately with a variety of personality types.
