Iceland Internship- Winter
Employment Type: Full-Time
This internship offers the opportunity to help conduct field research in Reykjavik Iceland with our research team December 17-23, 2019. This expedition will focus on developing a publication on Iceland. The intern will complete pre-trip investigative research, conduct action research for 1 week in Iceland and spend 2 months wrapping up your research from your home or university during the winter/spring semester.
Our team will be researching and developing a photographic essay with short stories capturing the culture and winter landscape of Iceland. It will be the interns goal to help research and capture photographs and written narratives on Iceland's culture, geography, geology, wildlife, natural resources, economy, sustainability, geothermal energy, history and tourism

We are currently looking for interns interested in getting out of their comfort zones and exploring the remote country of Iceland.
Research will be in the areas of Icelandic culture, geography, geology, wildlife, natural resources, economy, history and tourism. This research will be used to develop a publication on one of the topics detailed above.
- Action Research at expedition destination (7 days- December 17-23, 2019).
- Mobile Research from any location (1-3 months/10 hours per week following field research)
- Interested in earning college credit? We will work with your university to ensure that you receive 3-6 credits for your contribution to the field guide.
