This Office Manager oversees the general operations of the New York Offices, which includes tending to the office space, ordering and tracking supplies, maintaining vendor relationships, supervising and arranging back-up coverage for the receptionist, taking care of catering for meetings, and providing support to the Human Resources Department and/or the executive team members.

  • Liaise with SL Green Building Management to address and coordinate office repairs, cleanings, and any emergency issues.
  • Order office supplies to maintain proper stock.
  • Maintain accounts with vendors (building management, office supplies, catering, and mail machine).
  • Supervise receptionist, assign duties and special projects. Provide back-up reception coverage. Create monthly reception lunch schedule and arrange for temps when needed.
  • Order, set-up, and clean up catering orders for meetings and monthly events.
  • Review invoices to confirm all items arrived and service was completed.
  • Assist in onboarding process for new hires. Clean/wipe down the space prior to new employee s start date, setup with office supplies, invite to building pass session.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Human Resources Department and/or executive team members.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a mid-sized office management capacity or similar experience (75 + employees at one location).
  • Bachelor s degree preferred in Business/Communications or related field.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel and vendors.
  • Extremely organized, self-motivated, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent computer skills a must, Microsoft Suite.
