Job Description


Essential Functions:
The Recruiting Manager should provide general oversight and guidance to the recruitment team with the goal of driving individual profitability and TEAM cohesion

To achieve this, the following activities are expected: this includes but is not limited to:

  • Provide on the job training, coaching, daily oversite of production, and monitoring of activities
  • Set individual goals with recruiters and share clarity of expectations on all sides
    • Hold recruiters accountable to meeting goals and expectations
    • Set and maintain production metrics (calls, external submittals and placements)
  • Daily morning recap of prior day's successes and failures addressing areas of improvement
  • Strategically assigning each team member job priorities for the day and providing guidance and support for their priorities
  • Hold each team member accountable for progress updates
  • Serving as a point of escalation for team member issues
  • Ongoing training for new entry level recruiters (search strings, time management and prioritization, qualifying questions, recruiting 101)
  • Bi-Weekly 1:1 meetings with each team member
    • Connecting with team members and understanding their drive and motivation
    • Evaluate current metrics and forecasting for month end/quarter end
  • Leading by example
    • Concurrently producing at or above same metric levels; account management, recruitment and/or business development.
    • Recruiting Manager should average $2500 in weekly Recruited GM
  • Participating in monthly Recruiter Leadership meetings
    • Provide feedback, metrics, and progress reports to the Managing Directors and VP
  • Assist in interviewing new internal candidates (for your team or others)
  • Make hiring and termination recommendations to Managing Director
  • Upholding Professionalism within the team
    • Assuring that disciplinary action and write up information is shared with the Managing Director and flowed through proper channels and escalation points
    • Assuring the team adheres to company handbook policy
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years in a production role
  • Continues to support and grow accounts from a Staffing and Account Management perspective

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position has supervisor responsibility over a team of staffing professionals.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR five to seven years of relevant experience
