Operation of various manual and automated equipment used to manufacture and/or package pharmaceutical or OTC products in accordance with FDA, DEA regulations, cGMPs, and SOPs.
The ideal candidate for this position with have packaging experience in a sterile environment and an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Operate some stations of vial filling, packaging, and/or packing equipment such as labelers and cartoners and Fabrication .
Clean and set up manufacturing/packaging equipment.
Record all necessary documentation in appropriate log books.
Assure that all labeling documentation; e.g. samples, waste is properly identified.
Communicate with incoming and outgoing shifts.
Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOPs and their practical application.
High School diploma or GED.
1-5 years of Pharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical device, or food packaging experience.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Able to lift 25 to 30 pounds on intermittent basis throughout shift.
Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
2nd shift 3:00pm 11:30pm with half hour lunch break
